This Privacy Policy describes how Freefillment ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you install or use our Shopify application ("App").

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

• Shop and account information: store domain, shop name, contact details, onboarding preferences, and configuration settings stored in the App.
• Shopify data: information accessed through Shopify APIs based on the permissions you grant, which may include order, customer, and product data needed to operate returns workflows.
• Operational data: return status, warehouse processing details, tracking information, and related logistics metadata.
• Payment and payout information: payment method details processed by our payment providers and payout contact information such as a PayPal email address you provide.
• Technical data: log data, device/browser information, and usage information used to secure and improve the App.

2. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and related services.
• Configure return routing, warehouse processing, and merchant payouts.
• Process payments and billing for optional paid features.
• Communicate with you about service updates, support, and account issues.
• Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. How we share information

We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us host, operate, process payments, or fulfill warehouse and logistics services.
• Shopify as required for App installation, authentication, and API access.
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you uninstall the App, we delete or anonymize merchant data in accordance with Shopify requirements and our operational retention schedule, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your rights and Shopify compliance

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information. Shopify merchants and customers may also submit privacy requests through Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks supported by this App, including customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction upon uninstall.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
